Three kinds of evidence connect the Bovada sister sites: shared company names, a shared terms template and a shared history. None of the Bovada pages we opened states the whole structure.
Cafe Casino and Slots.lv Name the Same Company
Cafe Casino and Slots.lv both state that Arbol Media B.V. owns and operates them. Both cite Curaçao company number 145739 and Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/670/0711.
That shared entity makes Cafe Casino and Slots.lv sister sites in the strict sense. One company runs both brands under one licence.
Ignition Shares Anjouan Filings With Cafe Casino
Ignition’s footer says Bamboo Media operates the site in some jurisdictions, under registration No. 11548 at Hamchako, Mutsamudu, Anjouan. It names Arachis Media Ltd as the licensee of the Anjouan Gaming Board.
Cafe Casino’s footer names Arachis Media, No. 11547, at the same Hamchako, Mutsamudu address. The two registration numbers sit one apart, which links Ignition to Cafe Casino through Anjouan.
Bovada Names No Company on Its Own Site
Bovada’s footer cites licences from the Union of the Comoros and the Central Reserve Authority of Western Sahara. It does not name the company that runs the site.
State regulators name one anyway. On May 29, 2024, the Michigan Gaming Control Board sent a cease-and-desist letter to Harp Media B.V., which it called Bovada’s operator.
Court Filings Name Four Companies Behind Bovada
A class action filed in Utah on November 5, 2025, goes further. It alleges that Hove Media Ltd., Harp Media B.V., Bamboo Media Ltd. and Caravan Media B.V. collectively own and operate Bovada.
Bamboo Media is the same name that appears in Ignition’s footer. The Utah complaint says Bamboo Media, Ltd. is incorporated in the United Kingdom, while Ignition’s footer places Bamboo Media in Anjouan.
The shared name is a strong lead, but the two filings give different places of incorporation. A complaint states allegations, not court findings.
Bovada and Its Sister Sites Use One Terms Template
Bovada, Ignition, Cafe Casino and Slots.lv all number their restricted-states rule as clause 2.3. All four also number their VPN and fraud rule as clause 6.2.
A shared template does not prove shared ownership. The matching clause numbers show only that the four sites use one shared set of terms.
Bodog Is Now a Review Site, Not a Casino
Bodog.com no longer takes players, and Bodog.eu redirects to it. Its footer states that Bodog.com is not an online casino, sportsbook or iGaming operator.
The same footer says The Ayre Group owns the Bodog brand and licenses its use. Readers searching for Bodog as a Bovada sister site will find an editorial site that may earn affiliate commissions.
Where Bovada Came From
Bovada began as the US-facing replacement for Bodog in December 2011. Its poker accounts moved to Ignition in 2016.

Why Players Look Beyond Bovada
Bovada’s own terms bar more US jurisdictions than its sister sites’ terms do. Clause 2.3 of its Terms of Service bars 19 states and the District of Columbia.
Ignition and Cafe Casino each bar five states in their own clause 2.3. Slots.lv bars the same five states plus two Canadian provinces.
State Regulators Have Ordered Bovada Out
A state order explains at least one of those exits. The Michigan Gaming Control Board gave Harp Media B.V. 14 days to block Michigan players after its May 29, 2024, letter.
The Louisiana Gaming Control Board issued its order to Harp Media B.V. d/b/a Bovada on August 6, 2024. The board reported on September 20, 2024, that Bovada had listed Louisiana as a restricted state.
Bovada’s Terms Put Balances at Risk in Restricted States
Bovada’s clause 2.3 says an account accessed from a restricted state loses all access rights. It adds that any balance in that account may be considered void.
Clause 6.2 treats VPN or proxy use that hides a player’s location as improper activity. Under that clause, Bovada may close the account and forfeit all balances, including deposits and winnings.
Bovada’s terms also zero out dormant balances. An account with no deposit, withdrawal or wager for 18 months has its balance set to zero.
Lawsuits Target the Operators, Not the Players
Both class actions ask courts to return player losses under state gambling laws. The Kentucky case relies on a state law that lets losing players sue the operator.
The Utah complaint cites the Utah Gambling Act. Neither complaint is a court finding on who owns Bovada.
Bovada Alternatives Clovr Reviews for US Players

Sloto Cash accepts card and crypto deposits, according to its banking page. Its terms (version 1.2, March 4, 2026) list no US restriction.
Sloto Cash’s terms set a $5,000 weekly withdrawal cap. Its banking page sets $20,000 per month, with VIP limits up to $30,000.
The weaker side is transparency. Its terms identify the casino only as “Slotocash Casino” and name no licence. Its banking page lists Bitcoin as the only crypto withdrawal.
